Youngsville was founded in the early 1800’s by Acadian settlers. The land looked well enough to farm and raise their families on. 63 years later, Youngsville earned the title of village. The original settlers knew they picked a great area and they sure did. Evolving to a town by 1990 and a city by 2005, people realized what a great place Youngsville was going to be.
